In 2021, after Iranian society had undergone profound changes, Sara decided to return to her native Iran. She now resides in Tehran and has been there since the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran in late February.
On March 4, Dimitri Lascaris spoke by telephone with Sara about what she has witnessed since this war of aggression began. Based on what she has seen in that time, Sara believes there has been a massive shift in public sentiment in favour of the government and against the Trump and Netanyahu regimes.
Dimitri spoke with Sara while attending an annual conference of military officials and weapons manufacturers in Ottawa, Canada. At the outset of this report, Dimitri provides a brief account of what he saw at that conference.
