On March 22, Dimitri Lascaris visited the headquarters of the Red Crescent in Iran, which are situated in the Tehran, the capital.

There, Dimitri spoke with Razieh Alishavandi, the Red Crescent's Under-Secretary General for International Affairs and International Humanitarian Law.

According to the Under-Secretary, U.S.-Israel airstrikes in Iran have injured more than 18,000 civilians and damaged more 81,365 building units, 275 health, medical and emergency units and 498 schools and education centres.

The Under-Secretary also identified the governments that have provided humanitarian assistance to Iran - and none of them come from the West.
