28:12Now PlayingIn May of this year, three Lebanese nationals travelling from the U.S. to Lebanon were arrested at Heathrow Airport in Britain after they were found carrying weapons concealed illegally in their luggage.
They claimed that the concealed weapons were “personal donations” to the Lebanese Army.
The chief of security at Beirut's airport is Fadi Kfoury, a Brigadier-General in Lebanon's National Army.
Kfoury is hostile to the Lebanese resistance and is close to Lebanon's U.S.-backed President, Joseph Aoun.
In this report, Rami Yahia speaks to Lebanese investigative journalist Radwan Mortada about the possibility that Kfoury is running an arms-smuggling operation out of Beirut's airport.
