41:24Now PlayingEarlier this week, we marked three years since Brexit Day, the day when we finally left the EU after the Brexit wars that came after our 2016 vote to Leave. But pollsters tell us that we now have a case of Bregret, a wish that we hadn’t left the EU after all.
Can this be right? In the view of Darren Grimes you ask the question, has the Government made a success of Brexit? And the answer is no, because we’ve barely changed a thing! We’ve barely begun to exploit the opportunities outside. But even then folks, even then, would the country back rejoining the EU club, cap in hand, only to be served a thin gruel of the Euro as our currency, of untrammelled free movement into our land and the ever-interfering Euro courts? Darren doesn't think so!
Joining Darren on this week's show is Ben Habib, a businessman and former Brexit Party MEP. Ben discusses 'Trussonomics', the continued fight for Brexit, Theresa May's sovereignty eye roll and the state of politics today. We hope you enjoy it!
