YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIf the disruptive pro-Palestinian protests over the past few weeks, with their chants calling for the end of Israel and for violence, haven’t been enough, there have been calls to BOYCOTT the two-minute silence on Remembrance Day - the one day of the year where we all stop and remember those who fought for our freedoms.
Sarah Antoinette argues that such protest shouldn’t be allowed on that day, and people who advocate for it don’t appreciate they wouldn’t be able to say what they want if it wasn’t for the men that fought for their rights.
“Wear your poppy with pride. This is a symbol of those who fought and died so that we can be free today. Every single one of us who has the freedom to speak our minds, be who we are, look how we want, say what we like, we have that freedom because of those who fought for us,” argues Reasoned contributor Sarah.
