14:12Now PlayingA migrant hotel has been attacked in Rotherham in today's riots. Bricks were thrown at police, windows were smashed in, fires started, and the hotel was invaded. It is chaos.
This obviously needs to stop, but Keir Starmer's response is fuelling the fire more. He's accusing the people of Rotherham of being far-right thugs who are merely protesting as an attack on skin colour and religion.
This couldn't be further from the truth, and Keir Starmer's diagnosis only makes the people of Rotherham feel less listened to than they were before. The Government ignored their cries for help over their grooming gang crisis for decades. The town was incredibly unsafe for young girls, so what did the Government do? Open a load of migrant hotels full of undocumented young men, including one right next to a school. The people of Rotherham have been ignored, and Keir Starmer has shown today that he still chooses to ignore their problems.
