Brits can't trust the police force to keep them safe because it's two-tier; if the police are unfair, Brits now can't trust the media to expose them for it. Nor can they trust the Government to hold police to account when they're just as bad. Nor can they trust the courts to support them if police make an unfair arrest. Brits have nobody they feel will listen to them and keep them safe anymore.
