YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIowa's segment of the DAPL is in the ground now, but a court challenge could prevent anything from being pumped through it. Kathy Holdefer of Jasper County, IA, who was arrested during a civil disobedience protest against the pipeline, explains the state law restricting the use of eminent domain that undergirds their case.
Kathy also shares with TYT's Eric Byler ( ) how she felt about the construction process, which went on day and night and, she felt, endangered her granddaughter. And, she called out Gov. Terry Brandstad (R) for arranging for the right of eminent domain to be transferred to an outofstate oil transfer corporation. Energy Transfer Partners threatened to take her land and then ended up taking the land of her neighbors.
