"Waterbury Police Officer James Hinkle was fired Monday following an internal investigation into the Dec. 13 incident. Hinkle, a patrol officer who had been with the department for seven years, was on administrative leave during the investigation.
“His conduct during this encounter with a citizen of the community is unacceptable and not representative of the men and women serving the Waterbury Police Department," Waterbury Police Chief Fernando Spagnolo said Tuesday in a statement."
