Canada's media party is still obsessing over PM Harper's remarks about guns and self-defence.
Were his comments really "dog whistles" and "hidden messages" to the party's base? Or were they just obvious common sense?
Craig Oliver on CTV's Question Period took liberal media paranoia to the extreme, calling the PM's comments "unbelievable."
To their credit, the Canadian Press has started a feature called "The Baloney Meter" and even they admit that Harper's remarks are being widely (and wildly) misinterpreted.
