If the British Columbia oil spill was so serious, why did the media have to use stock photos for their stories -- one of them showed a duck on a rock, with no oil in sight.
The CBC.ca's story took five reporters to write, and they used a deceptive photo, too.
This was hardly the Exxon Valdez all over again. The small amount of oil that spilled was refined, so it evaporates quickly. Clean up crews responded quickly and the situation was resolved.
But so what? The hysterical media and environmental activists got to live out their nightmare fantasy scenario. This incident proves once again that the mainstream media in Canada can't be trusted.
