Raheel Raza on bill to ban niqab at citizenship ceremonies

Raheel Raza talks to Marissa Semkiw about the proposed law that would bar Muslim women from wearing niqabs during Canadian citizenship ceremonies.

Raza's group Muslims Facing Tomorrow supports the ban. She explains that, for one thing, the face-covering niqab is not a religious requirement under Islamic law. She adds that it is a health hazard and a security hazard.

Raza argues that women who say they wear the covering out of their own free will, "maybe they need to see a therapist."
