Canada Day marks the unofficial start of summer but for Canadians who still care about history and heritage, it may serve as a reminder of what we lost on July 9th, 1982 when, with only 13 members present the Trudeau Liberals were able to expunge Dominion Day from our history.

David Menzies of TheRebel.Media provides some missing history on the proper meaning of "Dominion", and asks if the Harper government should consider restoring "Dominion Day" to its rightful place. Tell us what you think in the comments.
