Ezra Levant found out about Dancey's conviction through a tip. He filed a request for the records at a Regina courthouse, and a clerk handed them over.
It's called "journalism" -- but other Canadian reporters are less interested in how and why a convicted violent criminal from Saskatchewan got a powerful job with the new Alberta government than they are in how Levant got hold of these papers!
