We've told you about Ezra's prosecution by the Law Society for comments he made in an editorial. Most of the civil rights groups in Canada have remained silent on this violation of free speech and freedom of the press which is why we're so pleased to hear PEN Canada express support for Ezra. Not for his opinion but in upholding his right to fair comment on a matter of public interest.
