PM Harper is taking a lot of heat for calling for a calm, considered response to the crisis. But remember: There is no "good" side in the Syrian civil war as far as the West is concerned. Even bringing in members of the Free Syrian Army poses a problem because some of them may have committed war crimes.
No less than Obama's National Security csar, James Clapper, is raising a red flag on this topic.
