Media Party loved to hear from Chretien, for the same reason they like to go to concerts by ageing bands from the sixties and seventies: to relive the feeling of being young again.
Since his Media Party fan-boys won't do it, I want to ask questions like: who is paying Chretien these days? He rents himself out by the hour to companies who do business in dictatorships.
The Media Party is too busy hanging on his every word and cheering his Canada-bashing to ask questions about that.
