5:21Now PlayingBrian Lilley of TheRebel.Media reports that charges charges have finally been laid in the Sudbury by-election scandal.
Allegations of bribery against Premier Wynne and two of her messengers first surfaced in December 2014.
It only took ten months and in the end only Gerry Lougheed is facing charges.
From the beginning the delays and inaction with this scandal smelled of political interference from every level.
After all, there are even federal connections to both the Liberals and NDP in this story but those are just side issues.
The biggest question remaining is why neither Premier Wynne nor her Deputy Chief of Staff, Pat Sorbara, are facing charges. As long as questions like this remain, justice cannot be seen to be done.
