Of course, Margaret McCuaig-Boyd insists this trip will build business relations between Alberta and China. And of course, China is a big energy customer. Wouldn't it be great to get China to buy Canadian ethical oil rather than OPEC oil?
But the Alberta NDP hates the province's oil industry, and is against the Northern Gateway pipeline that would take Alberta's oil to the west coast to sell to China to the tune of $25M a DAY.
