It seems Justin isn't aware of his father's "Just watch me" moment in 1970 when he enacted the War Measures Act in Quebec to deal with acts of terrorism and kidnapping, but back to the point.
If you've seen the latest Liberal party ads, you'll realize that it isn't so much that Trudeau is against "dividing" Canadians but only that he differs about which Canadians he's willing to pit against each other.
The scariest part of those ads is how much like "Occupy Redux" they seem, suggesting that if you see something you really want, don't work harder, just take it.
How is it off-base to divide Canadians over the niqab but perfectly alright to vilify the achievers by pitting the takers against the makers?
