The public sector unions are being well rewarded for their support of the NDP: Finance minister Joe Ceci announced the largest consolidated deficit in Alberta history -- $9.7 billion dollars.
(And last week's estimated $31B in debt by 2019 is now pegged at $47B!)
While the NDP and their public sector friends were celebrating, I talked to representatives from the opposition and the private sector, instead. What I heard were real concerns about the implications this budget will have on regular Albertans.
