3:08Now PlayingStephane Dion is the new Foreign Affairs Minister.
Ezra Levant of TheRebel.media says Dion is an old Chretien-era warhorse, so he's worried that Canada will slide back into bad old Chretien habits, like sucking up to dictatorships.
Yesterday, Dion had a message for Israel: Canada was going back to its “honest broker” role — as in, we’d split the difference between good and evil. That's no surprise:
When Hamas took over Gaza, democracies like Israel and Canada cut back on aid. But here’s what Stephane Dion said at the time: "The government should, right away, commit itself to maintaining the $52-million in help (...) Canada should do more not less."
That is: We should give more money to a terrorist dictatorship.
