Ezra Levant of TheRebel.media reports: Justin Trudeau killed off the Northern Gateway pipeline today. In the mandate letter to his Transportation Minister Marc Garneau, Trudeau told him to "formalize a moratorium on crude oil tanker traffic on British Columbia's North Coast."
Of course, what Trudeau really means is that he wants to ban tankers that would have shipped oil that would have been brought to the coast by Northern Gateway. This move is in effect a moratorium on Alberta oil. He's not against OPEC oil, of course.
Trudeau's father brought in the National Energy Program that also targeted the Western provinces. He's be proud of his son today.
