Brian Lilley of TheRebel.Media reports:
I’ve spent a lot of my time in journalism revealing the disturbingly close relationship between the Liberals and the media party, primarily directed by the CBC, but this latest move by the state broadcaster to protect their Liberal paymasters even shocks me.
They have a piece out debunking an item being circulated on social media by average Canadians who are concerned that Syrian refugees are getting better treatment than most vulnerable Canadians.
Not only is the CBC playing defence for the government on this potential black eye for the Liberals, but they also fail at basic fact checking and you’ll see why when I take an objective look at the underlying facts and figures.
What do you think? Are the average Canadians that are circulating this information, completely wrong? It seems to me they have got more right than CBC does despite their billion dollar plus subsidy and favoured government status.
Funny how the state broadcaster never felt the need to get involved in social media meme busting and fact checking when Harper and the Conservatives were the target.
Then again, with CBC, it's never about the facts, it's about the agenda and right now that agenda is protecting their patrons, their paymasters in the Liberal government and ensuring they get that extra $150 million they were promised.

The CBC actively campaigns for Justin Trudeau and the Liberals, so why should we subsidize them?
