4:10Now PlayingJohn Robson reports, May 12 is the date back in 1933 that FDR signed the Agricultural Adjustment Act into law, a brilliant government plan to increase prosperity by destroying wealth, and specifically to help feed a hungry nation by plowing food right back into the dirt. The approach has of course caught on. But May 12 1935 is also the anniversary of a highly successful organization which took the opposite approach allowing individuals to be responsible for improvements in their lives.
