1:21Now Playing| Marjorie Michel, Mark Carney’s new health minister, is in charge of the paramilitary operation to kill nearly 400 ostriches at a British Columbia farm. Ezra asked her an easy question at a press conference after thanking her for letting him in and promising not to ask about anything before the courts. Ezra noted that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., her U.S. counterpart, had offered to take the birds to study them, since they had recovered from avian flu and were now immune. She could have said anything even a single word but instead she froze, said nothing, and her media assistant kept saying “next question” in French. It looked weak and thinskinned, and we have no idea if she was clueless, unwilling, or simply not allowed to speak. If a cabinet minister can’t even answer a softball question from Rebel News, she’s probably not ready to sit in cabinet.
