Democrats sent Fmr. President Barack Obama to Virginia and New Jersey to do damage control, er, I mean, campaign for Terry McAuliffe and Phil Murphy, respectively. What happened there was unsurprising, as Obama put on a faux-southern accent to pander to (mainly black) voters. This likely will not move the needle either way, and if anything, may end up hurting Dems at the end of the day.
