Interviewer: "Did he have anything to do with your getting engaged?"

Girl: 'Well, I kind of help him along in a way.'.

Interviewer: 'What do you mean, kind of helped him? How?'.

Man: 'I made the suggestion and she was all for it and I wouldn't say it was any more than a half and half proposal.'

2nd Couple:

Interviewer: 'What is your name?'

Man: 'Robert Browning'

Interviewer: 'How long have you known each other now, Robert?'

Man: 'Three years'

Interviewer: 'And I understand you are the one that did the proposing in this case, is that right'.

Girl: 'Why shouldn't I after three years'.

Interviewer: 'Did you wait three years for the chance?'

Girl: 'I had to, Leap Year just came along'.

Interviewer: 'Have you any pet names for Robert'.

Girl: 'Oh, several, but I couldn't say them'.

Interviewer: 'Why?'

Girl: 'I call him Slobby'.

Interviewer: 'Oh, that's a nice name for Leap Year, You didn't include that in the proposal'.

Girl: 'Oh, I shouldn't, he wouldn't have accepted me.'

Interviewer: 'What do you call her, Slobby, I mean Robert?'

Man: 'She is about as noisy as an Indian, so I call her Squaw, I guess'.

Interviewer: 'Squaw and Slobby, very Nice'.
