On the United Nations International Day of Light on May 16, the town of Brixen in the Italian Alps was lit up by a series of SOS flares, a symbolic global call to attention concerning the future relationship between robots and humans. The flares were ignited by Italian artist Stefano Cagol as part of an artistic performance titled "We Own the Futures.”
