The International Association of Fire Fighters is a labor union representing paid full-time firefighters and emergency medical services personnel in the United States and Canada. The IAFF was formed in 1918 and is affiliated with the AFL-CIO in the United States and the Canadian Labour Congress in Canada.
Jason began his career as a Firefighter/Paramedic and then rose through the ranks as an Acting Driver, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief and even Assistant District Fire Chief. He started his union involvement in 2001, when he joined the IAFF local 3080. In 2003, he joined local 3333 and in 2005 was assigned his first position as Sergeant of Arms. In 2019, Jason decided to run for President and ran unopposed.
