In this video, Prof. Wolff warns about the terrible and deadly consequences we face because of the manner in which large numbers of American workers have been treated. High unemployment rates, the losses and anxieties that go with it are driving many desperate Americans to return to work and resume normal life too soon. They are not to blame Wolff argues for they have been heavily influenced by demagogic leaders who tell them it is patriotic to ignore social distancing rules, forgo uses of masks and resume all activities.
