YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn 2019, the Madison County Board of Health declared wind turbines posed a public health threat. In late 2020, the Madison County Board of Supervisors banned new wind turbines in the county. In response, the county was promptly sued by MidAmerican Energy, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, which has annual revenues of about $270 billion. This month, Diane Fitch, one of the supervisors in Madison County,, apparently intimidated by the litigation, switched her position on wind development. (Fitch, who was on the Power Hungry Podcast last year, hasn't answered any of my email queries.) Madison County now appears to be on the verge of settling the litigation with MidAmerican which will allow the company to put dozens of additional turbines in the county.
