Explant Wellness Tip: Be Careful with Saunas

While you may not literally “melt” your implants…Frequent sauna use at very high temperatures is NOT in your best interest. Especially if you are someone already experiencing breast implant illness symptoms.

Leaching can happen at high temperatures, and I’ve tested many patients who show high levels of heavy metals (found in breast implants) on their tox tests. What did they have in common? Frequent high temperature Sauna use.

While sauna is great for detox, AFTER explant..it can do more harm than good while you still have implants in. There are other great ways to detox, and reduce inflammation, like lymphatic drainage massages and gua sha.

I always seem to get a lot of “heat” when I talk about this… I’m not here to scare you, rather share my findings so that you can make an informed decision. What are your thoughts on this?
