In 2006, his death sentence was commuted to life with the possibility of parole. Marshall died on February 21, 2015 a month before his first parole hearing.
In this episode, Roberta takes a look at the 2003 advocacy documentary for Marshall's innocence "Fatal Mistakes". The film was made by students at the Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. The documentary contains what at that time was Marshall's first interview in 18 years.
