The Innocence Project championed his “innocence”. Kim Kardashian advocated tirelessly for his release. ABC aired an advocacy movie to get Paul Howell’s killer Julius Jones released off of death row. On Nov. 18th, 2021 Oklahoma Gov. Stitt commuted Jones’ sentence from death to life in prison with no possibility for parole. Since his commutation, the Innocence Project has never stopped campaigning for his innocence. Now Jones faces new charges stemming from Jones alleged involvement in a prison contraband ring. In this episode, we discuss the evidence against Jones’ in Paul Howell’s murder and explore why the wrongful conviction movement and their advocates never stop advocating for the release of their pet murderers.
