52-year-old Desiree Collins was taking out her trash, when the dog clamped down on her arm back in September. Collins suffered bites to her arm and leg. Her attorney says the officers made several mistakes, the dog was on a 20-foot leash, which allowed it to venture to areas not visible to the police officer. The attorney says the department needs to train their officers so this doesn't happen to another innocent person.
