16:29Now PlayingPBS has suspended late night talk show host Tavis Smiley while an investigation begins in to several sexual misconduct charges levied against him from several employees .
According to variety, the veteran journalist engaged in sexual relationships with multiple subordinates who felt their employment was linked to having sex with him. They say the working enviroment was verbally abusive and threatening. Many feared retaliation. In February a former producer for the show published a piece in the Observer describing an environment filled with mysongonistic behavior and womenizing.
+ Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons is facing more rape allegations.
The New York times is reporting that three women claim they were raped by Simmons in incidents dating back to the late 1980s. The Los Angeles Times is also reporting accounts from five more women who allege Simmons raped them in the 1980s. Simmons is denying the accusations.
