If you combine ALL eight of the cable networks that are Black owned or target African Americans, none of them have a single hour during the week dedicated to news of the day regarding Black America.
That equates to 1,176 hours of programming and not one hour of news dedicated to our community. This lack of pertinent news information has essentially created a news desert in the African American community where we are literally laughing ourselves to death and in many instances remaining willfully ignorant about the world around us.
