5:54Now PlayingOn May 6th of last year, Harvey Hill was arrested in Madison County, Mississippi for allegedly trespassing. The following day, he was dead as a result of cardiac arrest. Hill is one of three African Americans who have died at The Madison County Detention Center in Canton, Mississippi under suspicious circumstances and the families want answers.
Black drivers and pedestrians who travel in majority African American neighborhoods in Madison County are disproportionately stopped at roadblocks and subjected to searches and seizures by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, according to more than sixmonths of evidence collected thus far by the ACLU of Mississippi.
