During Thursday's edition of #RolandMartinUnfiltered, Roland and his esteemed panel of guests discussed the importance of the African American community adopting the mantra of "never forget."
We can never forget what happened over the course of the 400 years people of African decent have been in the Americas. We cannot forget the horrors of institutionalized slavery. We cannot forget the injustices of the Jim Crow era. We cannot forget the struggles of the civil rights movement and the renewed fight for rights embodied by the movement for Black lives.
We also cannot turn a blind eye to the blatant efforts to roll the clock back on our liberties and the gains we have made.
