New analysis from The Wall Street Journal paints an even gloomier picture for Blacks in the workforce. According to WSJ, wages have grown much slower for African American workers.
From the recession in 2007 to first quarter of this year:
- All US Workers: Up 5.5%
- For Hispanic workers: Up 11.8 %
- For Black workers: Up 1.6%
Going by the WSJ's report Black workers' wages have increased less than one dollar over the last 12 years.
