Roland Blasts SC Dems For Excluding Media Except MSNBC From Broadcasting Live At Their Convention

In a move that has all of mainstream media and independent media outlets up in arms, the South Carolina Democratic Party struck a deal with MSNBC to be the only live broadcaster of its convention on Saturday.

The deal also established a three hour embargo on content recorded at the convention and barred any and all other media outlets from live streaming via social media.

The deal made by SC Dems also sparked the ire of Roland Martin, host and managing editor of #RolandMartinUnfiltered. During Wednesday's show Roland scorched them for their egregious agreement with MSNBC, called on Black politicians as well as Democratic presidential candidates to push back against the party and demand the doors be opened to the media.
