Did Any Of The 2020 Prez Hopefuls Woo Black Voters At Rep. Jim Clyburn's 'World Famous Fish Fry'?

Rep. Jim Clyburn held his "World Famous Fish Fry" in his home town of Columbia, South Carolina on Friday. 19 of the 21 Democratic presidential candidates attended the event and spoke onstage in an attempt to rally support for their bids for the White House.

Roland Martin spoke with Rep. Clyburn on the Tom Joyner Morning Show about the 2020 presidential hopefuls and about which one, if any of the candidates stood out from the pack.

Clyburn explained to Roland, it’s important that candidates remember Black voters are “faith voters” and we don’t want to just hear their words, we “want to see” what they do. That means that Black voters want to feel important and that our issues matter.
