14:31Now PlayingR. Kelly was arrested on federal sex crime charges in Chicago and is being held in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in the Windy City.
The R&B singer was charged in a federal indictment with producing child pornography, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and other crimes against minors.
In a separate indictment in New York, Kelly was charged with racketeering and violating the Mann Act, which prohibits the transportation of people across state lines for illegal sexual activity
A bail hearing is scheduled for early next week. At a press conference Friday morning, R. Kelly's crisis manager and Joycelyn Savage's parents shared harsh words during a heated exchange. .
