Black women in California are feeling marginalized by the Democratic Party and they're pushing for more clout.

Last November's elections gave us the most racially diverse Congress in history, but we still have a long way to go to achieve racial equity.

Kimberly Ellis, a Progressive Activist from the Bay area who ran to be chair of the Democratic party there spoke with Roland Martin about what needs to needs to be done to advance the agendas of Black women in the Golden State.
