Black Florida City Commissioner Calls Out Deputy At Awards Ceremony For Falsely Arresting Him

During a commission meeting in Tamarac, Florida officer of the month awards were being handed out by Tamarac Mayor Michelle Gomez and the city's leadership.

Following a group photo with the law enforcement officers, Commissioner Mike Gelin took the microphone from Gomez and called Deputy Joshua Gallardo back down to the front to confront him.

Commissioner Mike Gelin told Gallardo: "It's good to see you again. You probably don't remember me. But you're the police officer who falsely arrested me four years ago. You lied on the police report. I believe you are a rogue police officer, you're a bad police officer and you don't deserve to be here."
