[UPDATE] A Wisconsin school security guard fired for repeating a racial slur while scolding a student for using it has been rehired after protests, a union official told The Associated Press Monday. []

Marlon Hill, a Security Guard at Madison West High School in Madison, Wisconsin was fired because of his use of the n-word.

Hill says he used the word while asking a student to stop using the word against him.
