NFL Releases Botham Jean PSA Highlighting Police Brutality Ahead Of The Super Bowl

The NFL unveiled a public service announcement this week centered around the story of Botham Jean, an unarmed Black man who was fatally shot in his own home by an off-duty police officer.

The PSA was released as part of the NFL's partnership with Jay Z's Roc Nation.

Sports Journalist Jemele Hill tweeted: I think I remember someone named Colin Kaepernick taking a knee to protest the police killings of unarmed Black people and being blackballed from the NFL because of it. I had to have been dreaming, right?
