We Didn't Get To See Kobe's Second Act: James Worthy Laments The Tragic Passing Of Kobe Bryant

James Worthy, NBA Hall of Famer and one of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players in History joined Roland Martin on #RolandMartinUnfiltered to reflect on the life and legacy of Kobe Bryant.

During their chat Worthy talked about Bryant's inquisitive nature and about how he picked the brains of others who had achieved success in an attempt to become the best.

Worthy lamented not being able to see Bryant evolve after retiring from the NBA saying, "We didn't get to see the second half of his career — He gave us everything — He gave us blood, sweat and tears as a basketball player — as an athlete and we were really looking forward to his second career."

"He was getting ready to do some big things," said Worthy.
