House Passes Rep. Ayanna Pressley’s Credit Score Reform Bill. Here’s How It Can Help You ...

The House of Representatives passed the Comprehensive CREDIT Act of 2020 which would make it easier to fix mistakes in credit reports, improve free annual credit reports, restrict the use of credit reports for employment purposes and limit the reporting of medical debt.

The bill introduced by Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, would also give struggling private student loan borrowers a chance to rehabilitate their credit.

Now that the bill has been passed by the House, will Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell take it up in the Senate.
